Spring Sessions 2020 CANCELLED

Anthony Simm’s at it again with this year’s Spring Sessions. Beating all other competitions to the punch, this is going to be the first competition of 2020, so dust off your freestyle setup and get some practice in before the big summer rush of events gets underway.

Event: Competition
Format: Mixed Pro/Am, two minute runs, two runs per skater
What to expect: A relatively casual event held in the traditional British fashion (by which we mean friendly and slightly shambolic).

Get more info on the event page or on the British Freestyle Skateboarding group on Facebook.

The start of the UKFSA

Hello everyone – welcome to the UKFSA website! It is still very much a work in progress (although by the time you read this, it might be considerably better!), so bear with us while we get up to speed.

While the UKFSA itself is an organising body intended to encourage the growth of freestyle in the UK – you can read more about us and our intents here – we are aiming for this website to eventually be a central repository for the freestyle skateboarding community in the UK.

What does that mean? Well, currently we have contest guidelines to help organisers standardise events, an events calendar for skaters to see what to attend, and this here blog to relay news and information.

Oh, and don’t forget the sidebar (on the right on desktop, or, confusingly, below this post on mobile), with links to further resources for freestyle skateboarders in the UK.

Drop a comment below with any ideas for things you’d like to see here or follow the RSS feed if, like most freestylers, you’re still living in the past.
